I crossed my arms across my chest and started to pout."Well you said it was a silly question and it was," he his laughter stopped. "But if I tell you, you have to keep it a secret.""Okay!" I got interested in what he was saying wanting to know the answer so badly."We are Batman and Robin." He paused waiting for my reaction. Then the laughter started up again and I went to pouting again."You are not funny Joseph!" I hit him playfully."But on a serious note," He suddenly got really serious. "You should really stay away from Nick he isn't a good guy...like me, even though we are brothers, he is defiantly not a safe person to hang around so all that I ask is you steer clear of him please!?" Joe looked at me as he pulled into his drive way that revealed a gorgeous two story house with beautiful windows and gray painting...it was amazing."I will...I promise, I have had enough trouble to last me a life time and I probably don't need anymore, because if this little vacation with my dad doesn't work it is off to boarding school yet and I defiantly don't want to go to one of those after I met such a great guy like you." I smiled up at him reassuring him that I would try and stay away from Nick and that he didn't need to worry about me.As we walked into the house we were greeted by Nick and the snobby mean girl at school Ashley practically having sex in on the couch in what I assumed to be the living room.Joe cleared his throat."Oh, hello brother, Miley," He smiled at me and gave one more kiss to Ashley still looking at me like he was trying to make me jealous."Nicholas can I have a word with you in the kitchen?" Joe looked at him with a stern look."Whatever you say brother," Nick smiled his famous smug smirk.As Nick and Joe had a harsh conversation in the kitchen it left me and Ashley sitting in the living room in awkward silence."If you think you are going to get Nick, he is mine so back-off," Ashley suddenly hissed at me with an evil glare."I don't even want..." She interrupted me."Whatever!" She exclaimed.Then Joe and Nick came back into the room and I sighed, glad that the awkwardness was over."Come on Ashley lets go somewhere more private," Nick grinded up against Ashley's body grabbing her waist as she let out a small moan."Well then let's go into the kitchen Miley and I will show you how to cook my specialty," Joe grabbed my hand and guided me to the kitchen.Joe showed me how to make his supposedly famous Italian spaghetti, or so he told me. We had fun and we talked about school, kids at school, are favorite things to do, what kind of music we liked to listen to, and are hobbies which was both drawing and painting. It was probably the most fun I had had with a guy in a long time that didn't want me to have sex or make-out with me. I also noticed that every time I would ask Joe about his family or something he would turn the conversation to something else, but I just let it go and put it to the back of my mind to question him some other time.He took me home around 9:00 and I went straight to bed in bliss.
