Spanish Omelette preparationDescription: Introduction, Tortilla espaƱola's ingredientsThis series courtesy of the Online Spanish Grocery www.IbericDelice.com describes the steps required to prepare a Spanish Omelette, typical, traditionnal and national spanish recipe. It is an omelette made with potatoes and an onion. The potatoes are minced thin in small pieces, and put to brown in a frying pan with the minced onion in olive oil.Once cooked potatoes are set appart until they get cold, then mixed with the eggs. Rapidly cook one side in the same pan, then turn the omelette to the back side, and it is ready (liquid "baveuse") or cook 1-2 mns this side, well done.NB: it is better to add more potatoes than eggs (different from video's comments), make it approximately 8-10 potatoes for 6 eggs (small potatoes the size of the eggs).This first video presents the spanish recipe, and the ingredients required.Courtesy of www.IbericDelice.comTo be continued...
